Utah Tax Filing Requirements
A Utah resident, non or part-year resident with income from Utah sources who are required to file a federal return, must file state tax return. You may be exempt from Utah individual income tax if your federal adjusted gross income is less than the sum of your federal standard deduction and personal exemption amount for the taxable year. If your Utah income is above the base limit for your filing status then you must file a tax return.
You must file a Tax Return, if your income exceeds the limit for the filing status.
